The Manchester Evening News states that Manchester United’s prime target this summer winger Jadon Sancho had an opening bid of €98 million (£89m) rejected by Borussia Dortmund. Manchester United has been a great admirer of the 20-year-old English star, but the German club wants much more for their most coveted player.
According to M.E.N. Dortmund wants nothing less than €120m (£109.3m) for the England international. The Manchester Evening News understands that the claims are wide of the mark with United yet to make an offer for Sancho.
It’s also reported that Dortmund are preparing for life without Sancho in the expectation that he will complete the switch to Old Trafford, with Jonathan Ikone and Jeremie Boga shortlisted as his potential replacements.
