Manchester United welcomes Bournemouth to Old Trafford on Saturday at 13:55 BST, for their Premier League match that can be seen on MUTV and BT Sport 1 in the UK on NBCSN at 10 am ET in the US. The referee will be Mike Dean.
Manchester United has a couple of players with some knocks and bruises. Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at a press conference had this to say regarding an update on the fitness of the team. “It would be nice to play the team that performed so well against Sheffield United at home last time and played so well against Brighton.”
“Let’s wait and see how everyone is training – I’ve not seen them this morning. I’ve got many reasons to play the same team, but I’ve also got a few reasons to rotate one or two who have played so well earlier in the season.”
Bournemouth Team news
Defenders Charlie Daniels and Simon Francis are also set to be absent with knee injuries, although there was a small piece of good news for Howe this week as Joshua King returned to the starting line-up after missing out on the trip to the Black Country through injury.
Bournemouth have lost each of their three Premier League matches since the restart, with Wednesday’s 4-1 reverse at home to Newcastle following on from defeats to Crystal Palace (2-0) and Wolves (1-0). The Cherries have failed to score in the league from open play in over five hours and have taken just 11 points from 21 games since beating United at the Vitality in November – the lowest amount in the top-flight.
