In a live Q&A with Bleacher Report, Marcus Rashford believes Jadon Sancho is the embodiment of a “new generation of footballer” and would love to play alongside his fellow England international.
Sancho’s club, Borussia Dortmund said that they wouldn’t stop the winger from leaving the club, if that’s what he wants to do when the transfer window re-opens. Because of this announcement, it has peaked the interest of many clubs in Europe, and they will no doubt be contacting the player’s agent.
Rashford was asked how would Sancho link up with the United attack. Rashford replied: “I think that our link up play will be good.”
“Sancho is a great player, he’s like the new generation of player. He’s exciting to watch him become the player he is developing into. Hopefully we can all play together, that would be good.”
The English striker added: “Sancho plays off the cuff , he’s creative, imaginative, and those are the things that you need to do well in this generation [of football].”
I can’t wait for Sancho to come to United. His outstanding qualities will improve our squad in a big way and we would compete better with the other clubs in England and in Europe. Once we are able to sign the other world class players that Solskjaer wants then we will be an extremely tough team to beat.
