ESPN reports that Marcus Rashford is stepping up his recovery from back injury. The Manchester United medical team approved the striker’s efforts to increase his rehabilitation efforts.

The England international has undergone scans on his back injury and after positive results has been allowed to increase his workload. He is also training away from United’s Carrington training base because of the coronavirus, but is being monitored closely by the club’s medical department.

Rashford said in an interview with Sky Sports that he’s feeling much better now since a few weeks ago.

“I feel much better,” Rashford told Sky Sports.

“Definitely, comparing it to two or three weeks ago, I feel 10 times better.”

“For me, it is just about getting ready to build it back up in training and playing the games with the team. I am much happier now than I was about a month ago, so things are looking positive.”

“Everyone’s just dealing with the circumstances as well as they can,” he said.

“I have just been in my house, doing my recovery work, reading books, watching Netflix and just whatever you can do to make the time pass.”

Yes Rashford, I hope that you get well soon. We can’t wait to see you as football fans get back out on the pitch again.
