Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic and Axel Tuanzebe seems to be on their way back from their injuries after they worked out with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Wednesday at the Aon Training Complex.
Luke Shaw has been out injured since the match against Crystal Palace in August, and was training as he continues to work his way back to fitness. Axel Tuanzebe is also on his way back after pulling out of the draw with Liverpool during a warm-up.
Nemanja Matic has been sidelined also, but could be available again soon. It would be another welcome boost for Matic, as Scott McTominay didn’t train with his teammates after he picked up an ankle injury in our last fixture, a the win over Brighton Hove & Albion.
Three players Eric Bailly, Tim Fosu-Mensah both had a special session with Diogo Dalot. Ashley Young returns from suspension for the match against the Blades. There will be further updates from the manager at the press conference on Friday.
I’m happy to see that these players are on the mend and could be available on Sunday against Sheffield United. These players returning couldn’t have come at a better time. Because United will be playing a lot of games within a short period of time and we need everyone fit and available for the many challenges ahead.
