Emre Can is unhappy with the current conditions at Juventus this season. Juventus Manager Maurizio Sarri has overlooked him in favour of other players so far this term. He has only managed to feature four times so far and is frustrated especially with being omitted from Juventus’s Champions League squad.
Manchester United are reportedly interested in the midfielder and he would likely cost £35 million. The 25-year-old spoke to Kicker magazine regarding his frustrations.
“I’m just an ambitious guy who always wants to compete at the highest level,” he told Kicker.
“But I’m also learning from this tough time when things aren’t going the way I was hoping.”
“I’m not playing games from the start, so I’m not happy, but I will stay strong and work on myself.”
“I’m often in the gym before or after training doing extra shifts. I want to be ready.”
United’s priority is to get one or two strikers. I don’t see us signing Emre Can. If he’s the right fit and Ole believes that he can fit into the system there, and he’s a player for a particular position that need then yes we should sign him. But I don’t really see a need for him right now.
But don’t get me wrong it would be great to see a player of better quality come into the midfield that will improve that area. But only time will tell if United will pursue Can come January.
