SkySports reports that Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot travelled to China to undergo rehabilitation for his hip injury that he suffered in the pre-season. The young Portuguese has been taking treatment at Chinese Shanghai SIPG.
He arrived in Shanghai on August 29 and received a “10 day special treatment” from a Brazilian named Eduardo, the head of their medical department, according to the club’s website. The 20-year-old has missed all 4 games so far this season. Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said last month that he hoped that the defender would be back after the international break.
I hope that he gets the best treatment that he needs in Shanghai, because we need all the players that we can get right now. Many players have left Manchester United during the summer and even earlier in September, so an increase in healthy players can only help the club.
Jesse Lingard is leaving the England squad and returning to Manchester United because of illness.
According to Sky Sports Jesse Lingard missed training on Friday before England’s matches against Bulgaria at Wembley and Kosovo at the St. Mary’s stadium on Tuesday. Lingard has played in all four games in the Premier league so far this season. The last time he played for England was in their third-place play-off win over Switzerland in June in the Nations League. I hope that he’ll be healthy to play against Leicester City at Old Trafford this Saturday.
