Manchester United had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Wolves at Molineux after a huge penalty miss by Paul Pogba. The Premier league match featured Anthony Martial scoring first for United. However, a sensational strike from outside the penalty area by Ruben Neves ensured that Wolves secured a draw.

Daniel James was given his first start for the Red Devils. The game started off at a slower pace and it was tough for United to breach a compact and well-organized defence. United also dominated possession, but it was difficult for them to create scoring opportunities.

United took the lead in the 27th minute when Anthony Martial scored after some good build up play. United continued to dominate the game and caused the Wolves defence all kinds of problems. The Red Devils enjoyed 70 percent of the possession in the first-half. Raul Jimenez had a shot blocked after a good run by Diogo Jota into the box.

After the break, Wolves came out attacking from the start and equalized in the 55th minute through Ruben Neves, and curled a beautiful shot past David De Gea after a corner kick. The home side were pushing for the late winner, and looked like they would get it too.

Paul Pogba drew a penalty kick in the 67th minute, but his powerful spot kick was saved by Rui Patricio, who guessed the right way. There were shots blocked by the Wolves defense by both Marcus Rashford and Daniel James. Wolves were resilient in there defending and wasn’t about to concede again.

The match featured end to end stuff in the last 20 minutes and both sides looked like scoring, but each team had to settle for a draw in the end.
