Aaron Wan-Bissaka has agreed a six-year deal with Manchester United. The Red Devils paid £50m to secure his services. His contract will pay the 21-year-old right-back £80,000 a week, and he is now United’s fifth most expensive signing.

Wan-Bissaka flew to Manchester in a private jet on Wednesday to complete the his switch and undergo a medical. He underwent club tests and met up with his family and management team at the Lowry Hotel just after 10 pm.

On Thursday he was driven to United’s training ground along with family and his agent so he could finish the details of his deal. He’ll be officially be presented to the media on Thursday evening.

MUFC reports that a deal could be completed for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes, and could be done by this week or the start of next week. According to reports in Portugal from A Bola Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur refuses to pay the fee because of Sporting Lisbon’s demands of €70m. However, both clubs are only willing to pay €55.

Miguel Pinho, Fernandes’s agent, has travelled between Portugal and England. As he tried to strike a deal with either Manchester United or Tottenham. Some sources say that Spurs wants to buy Fernandes in order to replace Christian Eriksen. This story has been in the media for many weeks now and sometimes we hear that a deal with United is close and then we hear that other teams have an equal chance of signing him.

I’m anxious to see if this story has real merit to it or if its just another news story that has sensationalism in it. Certainly we’ll see how true this story is by the end of this week or next week.
