Manchester United has reportedly agreed to a world record £55m fee with Crystal Palace for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
According TalkSport, the fee for 21-year-old right-back is a world record for a full-back. Wan-Bissaka impressed many admirers with his composed and confident displays last season for Crystal Palace. Ashley Young is the only recognized senior full-back right now, because Antonio Valencia is leaving the club.
I am very excited for Manchester United obtaining Wan-Bissaka, because he’s not only 21, but he is a quality full-back. He had the most interceptions, and tackles than any other defender last season. I love the fact that at his age he has the potential to be a fantastic player for United.
He is in the right hands with the excellent coaches that United has. The young England U-21 international just needs to be guided properly and developed as a young player with great potential. He’ll have many quality players around him that will help to improve his game.
Juan Mata signs new deal with Manchester United
Juan Mata has signed a new contract with the Red Devils that will secure his services until June 2021, with an option for another year.
His previous contract was set to expire at the end of this month. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praised Mata for his professionalism and positive influence in the dressing room as key reasons for keeping him. He can also use his vast experience and pedigree to assist the young players in the squad. I am glad you’re staying Mata.
