The Guardian reports that Daniel James will become Manchester United’s first signing soon after Swansea City accepted a fee that could rise to around £18m for the 21-year-old. James will undergo a medical on Thursday. Its reported that James will sign a long-term contract. The details of the deal are that United will pay £15 initially and the rest of money to follow will be in add-ons.
Well, finally United will officially sign their first player during the summer transfer season. Manchester United needs to buy at least four more players. We can’t afford to buy three players this summer. Other teams would most likely sign several players just like they did in last year’s summer transfer season. Now, Daniel James is a quality signing and can definitely make a difference for us in the upcoming season.
United has been linked with so many players this summer like Kalidou Koulibaly, Jadon Sancho, Joao Felix and Declan Rice just name a few. I believe that United is interested in a few of these players out of the 60 players that they have been linked with. But it will be fascinating to see who will be the new signings in the future. This is a good start and since United wants to target young British players we can expect to see more of the same.
