There have been several reports that Ander Herrera may have to leave Manchester United because his wage demands are in conflict with the mega deal that Alexis Sanchez signed with the club in January 2018. I think that United should find a way to keep the Spanish midfielder at Old Trafford.
According to the Evening Standard Herrera is linked with a move to PSG. The ex-Athletic Bilbao man is too important to the club to allow him to leave. The Spanish player has been vital to our success this season. He is just as important to us along with the likes of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic in midfield. Ander Herrera is energetic and is an excellent passer of the ball. He also gets forward every time when he has the opportunity to and he’s a fan favourite.
His assists and his workman-like attitude in the middle of the park is essential to the team’s success. If Alexis Sanchez’s wages are creating problems for other players at the club who want to renew their contracts then something has to give. Herrera’s wage demands are allegedly £ 200,000-a-week. Because of Sanchez’s huge wages and David De Gea who is also demanding a large pay increase has now created complications for United.
We can’t say what United would do in this situation, but let’s hope the club comes up with a permanent solution to these problems. All United fans would love to see Sanchez, De Gea and Herrera stay.
What do you think should happen?
