Manchester United will contest a Wolves side that will be confident after a 1-1 draw away to Chelsea in the premier league. Wolves coach Nuno Espirito Santo has a well-organized and compact defense that’s difficult to breach. Offensively they are dangerous on the counter-attack and when they take the initiative to attack. Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez are their players to watch out for. Jimenez is their leading goalscorer and Neves feeds the ball to the former frequently.
They also have very capable wingers in Matthew Doherty and Jonny that are threats out wide and provide accurate crosses into Jimenez and Jhota his fellow striker. We must contain these four players who can reap havoc to our defense. The Red Devils must be careful when we lose the ball because they have some pace going forward. We need to keep ball possession for a fair amount of time and often.
Then when we do have the ball we must counter-attack quickly and get the ball to Rashford and Lukaku as fast as possible. Young and Shaw will need to continue their good play by getting forward regularly in order to support the rest of the team. Pogba and Matic need to contain Neves and the other midfielders and win any loose balls that are in midfield. If we are disciplined at the back, organized and play an intelligent game tactically we should win this FA cup tie.
